On September 14th, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry France-Vietnam (CCIFV) held its traditional Welcome Seminar in Ho Chi Minh City.
As part of the event, Nicolas BLANDEAU, Account Manager at Constantin, was invited to share about Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Vietnam.
On behalf of Constantin, Nicolas BLANDEAU highlighted Vietnam’s economic rebound in the first half of 2022 following the reopening of the borders.
With countless efforts to control the pandemic, Vietnam was one of the most resilient economies in the last 2 years and the country is now experiencing its most positive period since the appearance of Covid 19. Vietnam recently implemented various policies aimed to support the enterprises to recover and attract a new wave of foreign investors in a variety of sectors and industries. Some major European investment projects in the country since the beginning of the year have been outlined during the presentation, including LEGO Group’s recent investment project to build a factory in Binh Duong province valued at more than 1 billion USD.
Gathering about thirty newcomers to Vietnam, this first event of the year testified the dynamism of the French business ecosystem in Vietnam.
Constantin thanks the CCIFV for the organization of this seminar !
